* Aaron Marcy NORTHERN ARIZONA 1967 ~ In 2012, Aaron and his family visited Spinadesco (Cremona), Italy, the site in northern Italy where, on Sept. 11, 1944, Aaron's father, Lt. Richard P. Marcy, 526th FS, 86th FG, 12th U.S.A.A.F., and his P-47 Republic Thunderbolt, crashed after the plane's left wing was sheared off by a tree-top while Lt. Marcy strafed a German truck convoy. The Marcy family met members of the organization Air Crash Po, a group based in Italy's Po River Valley that searches for WWII crash sites, and who re-discovered Lt. Marcy's crash site, Aaron and his family also met villagers who, as young children, witnessed the crash. Lt. Marcy was buried by the village and his remains were later moved by the U.S. Army to Ft. Snelling, Minneapolis, MN. The village had plans to commemorate the memory of Lt. Marcy. The trip was very emotional for the family. At the time of the crash, Aaron was three months old. Aaron is a Sigma Chi Omega and ZO Charter Member.
* Bob Vielledent NORTHERN ARIZONA 1970 ~ In 2009, Bob was inducted into the Pima County Sports Hall of Fame. "In his eight years as head football coach at Santa Rita High School, Vielledent's teams won 57 games while losing only 33 and made four playoff appearances. He is the winningest football coach in the school's history. At Sahuaro High School, Vielledent coached the boys' junior varsity team to a 223-41 record in 21 years. Vielledent also was athletic director at St. Augustine's Catholic High School. He has won several Teacher of the Year honors and was a 2002 finalist for the National Teacher of the Year after being nominated by NFL quarterback Rodney Peete."
